Welcome to Skin Nepenthe Beauty Blog, my personal and informal beauty blog! My name is Amani, a makeup and skin care aficionado who have started struggling with an oily and acne prone skin since early of my twenties. At teenage ages, my skin was in quite good condition where acne rarely pop in and my skin was not as oily as now.
However, everything completely turned into out of control as I have reached my twenties. Acne, acne redness, enlarge pores, acne scars, all were having their living hometown on my oily dehydrated skin. This have brought me to learn deeply about what ingredients truly work for my skin and what are pure hype. I had have tried many products regarding oily and acne prone skin in order to treat my skin problems.
My trial and error in treating my skin problems somehow have spurred lots of my interests in beauty, both makeup and skin care. Therefore, I decide to blog about beauty informally as I have realized that digging information regarding beauty has totally became my passion, and I feel of wanting to share what I have got and what I will learn soon after with all of you beauties.
At this moment, I tend to be one of the sources of informal beauty information. I also want to share about what I have experienced and learnt from taking care and treating my skin problems. I am targeting those who are interested in learning everything about makeup and skin care as well as reading my detailed product review based on my own experience and reaction on my own skin. My hope is not only to help you becoming more educated beauty consumers, I also want to empower you with the ability to improve your own skin! I believe that with constant efforts, healthy skin can be successfully achieved by all of us!

Now acne on my skin have not been as aggressive as before, it have partly resolved, on my own! I feel so relief, but I know my skin will always needs gradual maintenance, well it's an acne prone skin. I must be very careful by constantly controlling my makeup and skin care routines. However the truth is, no matter how careful I am to avoid my skin from being stopped by acne, there will be unlucky days at certain times, it is a must hahaha. Here, treating journey will restart!
