Skincare Review | HELLOSKIN JUMISO ~ All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum

Hello beauties! Today I'm gonna give a review about Helloskin Jumiso All Day Vitamin & Balancing Facial Serum. This serum in fact is an upgraded version of their previous vitamin C serum named as Drop The Vita C Facial Serum but I never use the previous one.

Before diving into it, let's talk about Jumiso a little bit. Jumiso is actually a subsidiary label of Helloskin brand. I was first introduced to Helloskin brand likely a few months ago after attracted to their cute packaging of Jumiso sheet masks. For me, their packaging is really whimsical! They features an adorable dog and its owner in such a cute way where its owner, the girl is always accompanied by her cute dog when she's doing her skincare routine. That dog looks like wonder what my lady boss is doing 😂. Well, it doesn't know every girl will always chase after a healthy and beautiful skin!

Jumiso word is derived from Korean words which are 주 (ju): to give and 미소 (miso): smile. Completely in Korean, Jumiso means "make you smile". That is why their core value is to "give smile to their customers". They have a cute logo too, letter "J" with a little smiley face illustration!

Now let's talk about Helloskin Jumiso All Day Vitamin & Balancing Facial Serum. It is a non-water-based and high concentration serum for skin radiance, brightening and balancing. It is a real serum not mixed with water! It helps to keep a bright skin tone and have a healthy and balanced skin. It is formulated with various kinds of vitamin complexes such as vitamin A, B, D, E and K as well as Vitamin C and many other ingredients that can help in nourishing the skin, helping in skin brightening, soothing and elasticity care. Whoah, kind of multivitamin serum!

📍 Highlighted ingredient:

• Vitamin Tree Extract / Sea Buckthorn / Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract (86.14%)

- It contains 86.14% of the extract of Vitamin Tree Extract and is full of vitamin A, B D, E and K along with vitamin C to help in brightening, antioxidant, anti-inflammation, wound-healing and skin recovery.

• Niacinamide (20000ppm / 2%)

- Brighten, improve uneven skin tone and dullness, reduce skin blemishes and congestions

• Hyaluronic Acid

- As the optimum agent to supply moisture to dry skin, it keeps the skin moisturized.

• Centella Asiatica Extract (Gotu Kola)

- Since it is excellent in relieving inflammation an soothing, it helps to revitalize the skin.

• Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract

- It vitalizes the skin, regulates excessive secretion of sebum and keeps the skin healthy and balanced.

📍 How to use:

Apply 3-4 drops to the entire face in AM and PM after facial cleansing and toning.

📍 Caution:

• For external use only.
• Discontinue use if irritation or rash occurs. If irritation or rash persists, consult a doctor.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store in a cool dry place and away from direct sunlight.
• Do not use on damaged or irritated skin.

It comes in orange-tinted glass bottle with a dropper as dispenser. I think this packaging is a pretty standard for a serum that contain ingredients which do not easily oxidized when exposed to the light and the air. There is an inner plastic holed stopper at the mouth opening of the bottle, probably to keep the serum airtight. It can also be used to hold the dropper when applying the serum to the skin.

📍 Capacity:

Its capacity provided per bottle is 30ml.

📍 Texture:

It comes in a clear and gloopy viscous texture.

📍 Scent:

It has a lemony scent which for me very refreshing.

📍 Application:

It spreads very easily on skin with very fast absorption. Post application, my skin feels very hydrated. It gives non-sticky finishing at all. It is pretty lightweight too on skin.

📌 Review of Helloskin Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum

I started incorporating this serum in my skincare routine after completely recovered from acne, where my chin area was left with acne scars (PIE). Basically I have used this serum three-quarter of the bottle but so far it only faded minor acne scars which for me, give a less noticeable result. However, I found that it was quite good in clearing up skin dullness when using it continuously. In term of relieving and soothing the inflamed skin, I think it is very mild on my skin.

What I love the most about this serum is, it successfully gave my skin an enough hydration. I did see this serum as a hydration booster for my skin rather than as a brightening serum. I can just skip the use of any hydration toner when going to use this serum. Its hydration supply was good as it can help in balancing oil production of the skin and in turn, minimizing pores appearance. I believe this also helps in preventing my acne prone skin from being congested.

Overall, although this serum has not satisfied me in fading acne scars (PIE), but I still would love to continue using this serum because of the enough hydration supply that it can give to my oily dehydrated skin.

📌 Pros:

👍 Sold starting from RM70.00 for 30ml per bottle, with very satisfy hydration supply to my always thirsty skin, I think it's price is worth to buy.

👍 Transparent bottle, its content can be observed if it is going to run out.

👍 Spreads very easily on skin.

👍 Fast absorption.

👍 Post application, skin feels very hydrated.

👍 Post application, it is lightweight on skin, gives non-sticky and non-tacky finishing at all.

👍 Refreshing lemony scent.

👍 Good in clearing up skin dullness.

👍 Gives skin very enough hydration supply with a few drops of use.

👍 Good in balancing oil production of skin.

👍 Minimizing appearance of enlarged pores.

👍 Preventing skin from being congested.

📌 Cons:

👎 Glass packaging, which does easily broken when hitting hard objects.

👎 Mild fading of acne scar fading effect.
