Skincare Review | Helloskin Jumiso ~ Ac Cure No Pain No Gain Spot Cream
Hello beauties! Have you ever heard about Jumiso? Or perhaps Helloskin? Today's post is about a review of one of their products. Actually, there will a total of 5 different products from Helloskin Jumiso to be reviewed, so do stay tune for my future posts about the rest beauties!
The product that I'm gonna review today is my most favourite one from Helloskin Jumiso. It is a spot treatment for acne, called as Ac Cure No Pain No Gain Spot Cream! Oh wait, no pain no gain? Is not that scary?

I think everyone with acne prone skin always need acne spot treatment product that can be used urgently to treat acne that suddenly pop in on skin. Is not that true beauties? We must be prepared all the times by always keeping it in stock! Cut off its supply will definitely give us disasters!
Before going into Helloskin Jumiso Ac Cure No Pain No Gain Spot Cream, let's talk about Jumiso a little bit. Jumiso is actually a subsidiary label of Helloskin brand. I was first introduced to Helloskin brand likely a few months ago after attracted to their cute packaging of Jumiso sheet masks. For me, their packaging is really whimsical! They features an adorable dog and its owner in such a cute way where its owner, the girl is always accompanied by her cute dog when she's doing her skincare routine. That dog looks like wonder what my lady boss is doing 😂. Well, it doesn't know every girl will always chase after a healthy and beautiful skin!
Jumiso word is derived from Korean words which are 주 (ju): to give and 미소 (miso): smile. Completely in Korean, Jumiso means "make you smile". That is why their core value is to "give smile to their customers". They have a cute logo too, letter "J" with a little smiley face illustration!
Now it's time to talk about the their spot cream. Their spot cream carries a principle which I think quite scary, it is "nothing is gain without pain" 😂. Do you think I have got the "gain" from the "pain" faced?

📍 Packaging:
It comes in a pale pink tube with a narrowing nozzle for dispense. Its tube is so cute and travel friendly! It has an aluminium seal on the tip of the nozzle in order to avoid any leakage before opening. The squeezy tube is durable and elastic, so I don't have to give my eyes to its ugly shape after being squeezed for many times 😂!

Its capacity provided per tube is 15g.
📍 Texture:
Its texture is watery-cream like with light pastel pink colour.
📍 Scent:
It has a refreshing minty herbal scent, or more precise tea tree scent.
📍 Application:
It spreads very easily on my skin. Post application, it is very lightweight likes nothing applied onto the skin. Buttttttttttttttttttttt, it does come along with a sensation, a sensation that give me a high feel to kick everyone around me at that time hahahahahaha! This product is dangerous! I will tell you more after this 😂! |

📍 How to use:
- Following facial cleansing, dispense a small amount onto a clean finger and apply on the desired areas, evenly massage contents into the skin in an omnidirectional manner to aid absorption.
- Do not use a cotton swab or other tool for absorption. Only use your hand.
- Firmly massage the cream into the skin as if directly sensing its permeation.

- Discontinue use if irritation or rash occurs. If irritation or rash persist, consult a doctor.
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- Keep out reach of children.
- Store in a coll dry place and away from direct sunlight.
- Do not use on damaged or irritated skin.

📌 Review of Helloskin Jumiso Ac Cure No Pain No Gain Spot Cream
What I can say at first is, receiving this no pain no gain spot cream is such a lucky coincidence for me that I had never thought it would be so! It arrived at the exact time, at the real time where my skin needs it so badly! If you have follow up my skincare routine, I have shared with you that before this I started to incorporate Deciem The Ordinary Granactive Retinoids 2% in Squalane but unluckily it did break my skin out so badly around my chin area.
I think you already can guess whether I have or I haven't got the "gain" for the "pain" that I had to bear off right ? Ohh but still, this product have given me a love hate relationship to my skin. My skin really loves it but at the same time hates it more hahaha!
Why my skin hates it? Because of the pain that it gives! Its pain is no joke!
Upon putting and massaging the cream on my acne, I immediately sense tingling sensation. That sensation lasted until the cream being fully absorbed. Ohh wait wait wait, I am not saying that tingling sensation is a big cause for me to hate the cream, no! Tinging sensation is a usual pain for acne prone skin like me, so it is almost nothing to me. What woke my sensory neurons to work in a sudden is a sense of my acne being pricked by trillions of micro-needles once the cream being fully absorbed! It is real, no joke!
It even gotten worse, turned my skin into red when I was spreading the next skincare products throughout my skin!**because I applied this cream after toning step** Scary enough? Not just there, it kept pricking acne as long as I have any skin contact with my face, even in the next morning while and after washing the skin. Yeah, it is really no joke! Luckily I just spotted the cream on acne, I cannot imagine what will happen to my skin if I spread the cream like using a moisturizer hahaha.
Actually, that sensation is attributed by Phytosilica ingredient. Phytosilica helps in regenerating skin through fine stimulation of skin and helping push in the active ingredients into the skin. Kind of almost similar to derma roller right, maybe? It helps in penetrating tea tree, niacinamide and centella deep into the skin to eliminate deep inside living acne bacteria in the skin and then effectively remove the acne.
Enough about the scary pain it gave to my skin. Now let's talk about the love side, the gain. Have the cream rewarded me with the cleared acne skin for bearing the scary pain? My answer is totally yesss! With micro-needles pricking sensation, it felt like this cream were drying out acne from the deepest layer of skin, like trying very hard to push the pus all out of the pores then slowly shrunk it all leaving dry patches.
Usually when acne pop in, I need to bear both the ugliness and the throbbed pain. But when putting this cream on, the ugliness still there, of course hahaha but no more throbbed pain, instead being replaced with micro-needles pricking sensation, should be considered better right?hahaha!
But seriously I really didn’t experience any throbbed acne pain as usual in this recovery process. Acne on my skin took about 10 days for complete recovery with this cream. I even started to incorporate Helloskin Jumiso Yes I Am Toner AHA 5% when the acne almost dried out completely. It helped much in quicken the shedding of dry patches from dried acne.
Regarding the sensation of being pricked by trillions of micro-needles, I think I should remind you with some useful tips. So here it are:

- Please have a patch test first to introduce the needling sensation to the acne so you will not become very shock.
- Massage or soft rubbing is essential while applying the cream to effectively deliver active ingredients deep into the skin.
- Always use specifically on acne only and spot as much as the acne needs only, do not over use in order to avoid irritation and any other adverse effect.
- Use the cream after applying moisturizer if you are not willing to bear its needling sensation much.
- Monitor your skin hydration level to avoid dryness.
