Review of 3W Clinic Intensive UV Sunblock Cream

Hello beauties! I'm gonna give a review about a quite popular sunscreen, Intensive UV Sunblock Cream from 3W Clinic brand. This sunscreen gets famous because of its much cheaper price than other sunscreens out there. Just who doesn't want cheaper stuffs right 😍????? However, is it really worth to buy and use this cheaper sunscreen for daily protection? If you already have an experience with this sunscreen, do share with me your opinion!

📍 Packaging:

It comes in a regular silvery tube with small nozzle for dispensing.

📍 Capacity:

The capacity provided per tube is 70ml. Now, can you guess its price??? Jeng..jeng...jeng....its price can start from RM8 if you buy it online directly from Korean seller, especially in Shoppe, but be careful to only buy from trusted and authorized sellers okay! With our local sellers, usually it can be bought with the price starting from RM12.

📍 Texture:

This sunscreen has a water-based cream texture which neither too thick nor watery. Can you get it?😂 It is undeniably a cream but it is not too thick like a regular cream, but also not too watery. I think it is almost similar to milky body lotion texture.

📍 Scent:

Its scent is exactly as regular body lotion scent, not too strong, just nice.

📍 Application:

It spreads very easily on my skin with fast absorption. Post application, it gives a slightly dewy finish look with very light white cast. I admit it is lightweight on skin at first but after 2 to 3 hours, my skin becomes a little bit oily and greasy.

List of the ingredients.

As it contains both chemical and physical UV filters, so it is categorized as a hybrid sunscreen. Oh yaa, this is not a water-resistant sunscreen, so of course it is not suitable to be used while having any water activity.

📌 Review of 3W Clinic Intensive UV Sunblock Cream SPF 50+/PA+++

The use of a sunscreen on an oily with acne prone skin is quite tricky as it may trigger acne to pop in. Fortunately with this sunscreen, I haven’t experience any breakout although it makes my skin very oily and greasy after wearing it for a few hours. To overcome that oiliness and greasiness, I tried to apply loose powder post application of this sunscreen but it only helps a little bit, not much.

This sunscreen will never last longer on my skin when it is not followed by makeup. It is kind of melting easily, making my skin very oily and greasy soon after. It will be in control when followed by foundation and loose powder respectively. So it means that it does a nice job as a makeup base as claimed, but not the very good one, for daily light and simple makeup it is acceptable. The sunscreen will not melt easily, it will be nice on skin for about 3 to 4 hours so as the makeup. A thing that I mostly like about this sunscreen is, it leave my skin a little bit brighter after I cleanse my skin!

In term of the UV filters, in fact it contains more UVB filters as compared to UVA filters plus the UVA filters are not in priority list too. This have made me thinking on how effective this sunscreen exactly is in protecting my skin from UV exposure. For me, it will be nicer if both the physical and chemical UV filters are balanced.

However as it is very cheap, I think its ingredients suit well with its price. We can't expect to get double goodness product by paying with its half price but I will definitely continue to use this sunscreen, not to be used as main UV protector but as my daily make up based though. **high quality primer are expensive, I am so stingy to use it daily hahahahahaha!**
